Faramarz Kardan, M.D., FACP, FHM
President and Medical Director
Dr. Kardan entered Tehran University
Medical School in 1979 when he ranked among the top
1% in the National Medical School Entrance Exam in Iran.
He received his medical degree with academic distinction
in 1988. Dr. Kardan completed his Internal Medicine
residency at Tufts University affiliated Faulkner Hospital
in Boston, MA in 1994.
Following his residency, Dr. Kardan
practiced medicine in an underserved area in Kentucky
where he served as a primary care doctor and also as
a part-time Emergency Department physician for about
3 years.
Dr. Kardan has been a Hospitalist
since 1999. He founded Advanced Hospitalist Medical
Group, Inc. (AHMG) in 2005 and was selected among several
competing groups to provide inpatient care to the unassigned
patients of Mission Hospital.
Dr. Kardan is board certified in Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of American College of Physicians (FACP) and also a Fellow in Hospital Medicine (FHM).
